Blessing to the World: To create a mandala that shares local culture and wisdom with the world.

1Action Description
We're building a library 1Book at a time at a remote mountain school in the village of Guina'ang. It's great example of the power of co-creation! 1Book from you and I and we can build 1 Library! The books are now arriving from folks all around the world. In turn the students of Guina'ang will be lead by the 1Mandala artists to co-create a mandala using the books, local materials and their culture. In this way they will give back to the world. Visitors from countries are now making their way to the school to teach the students and to contribute their know-how to building the 1Library structure using local resources and the latest eco-innovative building techniques.

1Action Context
Guina'ang village is 12 hours drive from Manila, then 2 hours by rough road into the mountains. The remote and humble school serves over 300 students aged 5-14 and seven staff. Their tattered English resources date from the 1960's. Because of the school's isolation, limited resources, and high class sizes, the student's learning and education is challenged.

Co-Creative Social 1Actions

The 1Mandala project is all about the magical process of co-creating beautifully. In the same way that the 1Mandala is being built 1 Portrait at a time, we can manifest beautifully 1 Action at a time. In the same way that the 1Mandala unites portraits made of meaningful real-world moments, we can unite people for real-world blessings for the disconnected and disadvantaged on our Planet. By channeling the passion of our followers, we can mobilize thousands of Little 1Actions to make one Big Blessing. Through Art we can build bridges and blessings that will reverberate around the planet.

1Actions

1Actions = Local Art + Global Blessing

Our social actions are designed so that the Giver receives, and the Receiver gives. Through the Art making process, Receivers give back to the World with their Creations. Our 1Actions are taking all sorts of forms-- from cash donations, to pancakes, to books-- with the disadvantaged giving back with their art, mandalas, portraits and smiles.

The 1Mandala and our 1Actions are funded the same way the 1Mandala is being built: Co-creatively. The 1Mandala is a grand testament to what humans uniting across borders can do together-- 1 Portrait, 1 Action, 1 Donation, 1 Intention at a time.

Our on the ground 1Action co-creators formulate detailed budgets that are approved by the 1Mandala core team. The budget can be found on the 1Action project page.
